Planned road closure - U1140, near High Bridge 16 June 2025 for 12 days

A temporary Road closure has been put in place to allow Cumberland Council Highways Service to carry out highway works which are expected to commence 16th June 2025 and anticipated to take 12 days to complete.

Location: U1140, near High Bridge, from a point approx. 600m south west its junction with the C2049, extending in an overall southerly direction for approx. 780m.

Alternative Route: A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of the U1140 and the C2049.
