Urgent Temporary Road Closure C1017 Southwaite - 4 March 2024 for 5 days

 An urgent temporary road closure has been put in place to allow Cumberland Council to carry out urgent carriageway repair works that need to be carried out without delay.

This notice will be in force for a period not exceeding 5 days from 4th March 2024. It is expected that the Works will take 5 days.

Location: C1017, from its junction with the C1036, extending in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 1200 metres

Alternative Route: A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of the C1017, C1037, C3010 and C1036 and a way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
