Temporary Closure Cycle Path / Diversion Route

During the construction of the West platform for the new Caldew Crossing, it will be necessary to temporarily close the Cummersdale footpath for 5 weeks from the 30th October to the 1st December 2023.  For the duration of this closure a fully signposted diversion will be in place.  Please see the map.  Whilst closed construction will realign the existing footpath to accommodate the west abutment of the new bridge.
