Road Works B5299 From New Road to Dalston Hall 26 January 2026 for 5 days. Expect Delays

 We would like to inform you that Cumberland Council will be carrying out essential drainage repair works on the B5299 outside of 'Dalston Hall' to address issues with water discharging onto the carriageway. These works are scheduled to begin on 26 January 2026 and are expected to take approximately five working days to complete.

To allow the works to be carried out safely, two-way traffic lights will be in operation for the duration of the repairs.
