Dog fouling in the cemetery

dog-fouling

There have been incidents of dog fouling on graves in the cemetery.

This is disrespectful behaviour.

Dalston Parish Council asks visitors to the cemetery to please keep to the paths and keep dogs on a lead and clean up  after them.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Yes. Sadly I visited my wife's grave on Friday March 1st - the day of what would have been our 21st wedding anniversary - only to find some disrespectful and ignorant dog owner had allowed their pet to poo on her grave. As you can imagine this was pretty upsetting. You can't expect the churchyard to be patrolled 24/7 - but what you can expect is for dog owners to clean up after their pet or else give their dog to someone who knows how to behave like an adult.
