Dalston Road Closure Anticipated Re-Opening Date February 2025

Initially Dalston Road was closed on 17th June for an anticipated 14 weeks. This was to enable the construction of the new Cummersdale roundabout and footbridge. Part of our works involved necessary third-party service diversions, one of which was undertaken by Electricity North West Ltd (ENWL). During these planned diversion works ENWL encountered an unforeseen issue which increased the duration of their works and added time on to our Programme. At this point, we were able to continue with our works. Unfortunately, ENWL have subsequently come across more issues with their diversion and these have further delayed the re-opening of Dalston Road. The anticipated re-opening date is now February 2025.
