Dalston Parish Coronation Events Sunday 7th May 2023

9.45am - Family Service entitled 'Kings Day Celebration' in St Michaels Church, led by Rev Chris Casey.

10am - Dalston Tennis Club.  Refreshments and a free tennis taster session.  All ages welcome, equipment provided.  No booking required.

10am - The Bowling Club invite you to try your hand at bowls.

10am -5pm - Art and Flowers in the Victory Hall.  Refreshments available 12-4pm

10.30am - 11.30am - Coronation Duck Race at the Mill Race age 3 up to 10.  £2 per duck.  Run by the Scouts.

11am - Joint coronation celebration at Raughton Head Church led by Doreen Hallsworth and Ruth Bainbridge.  The service will precede the community lunch at Raughton Head School.

12noon - 5pm - Live Band & Disco on the Kingsway.  Some tables and chairs will be provided on the Kingsway.  Bring your own picnic.

12 - 4pm Dalston Cubs running a variety of activities including Tomahawk throwing, a coconut shy, orienteering, soft archery, outdoor lawn games and a raffle.

2-3pm Crown making on the Kingsway.

3pm - Community Singing on The Kingsway / The Green.  God Save The King.
