 Speedwatch in Dalston

Dalston has a community Speedwatch group which is part of the Cumbria Police Speedwatch initiative. All volunteers under-go training with Cumbria Police before they can go on duty with the speed gun. Volunteers go out in pairs to monitor the speed of vehicles at locations chosen and risk assessed by Cumbria Traffic Police officers. Sessions will be for one hour at a time. The speed gun and equipment is made available for one week to villages on a rota basis.

Dalston Community Speedwatch are looking for new members to be welcomed to the team. If you are interested in joining our Speedwatch group or just want to find out more, please contact:-
