A temporary road closure has been put in place to allow Cumberland Council to carry out carriageway patching which are expected to commence 26th October 2026 and anticipated to take 5 days to complete.

Location: B5299, Dalston, from its junction with Lingy Close Road, extending in an overall southerly direction towards Dalston, for approx. 1.3km
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the B5299, A689, A595 and B5305 Wigton to Welton and a way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times
