A credit union is a financial co-operative owned and managed by its members who use it to save and borrow. If you become a member of the Carlisle and District Credit Union you will have a convenient way to save and access to low cost credit.
The Carlisle and District Credit Union was established by members of the Carlisle community to foster a climate of self- help to enable our community to take ownership of financial services.
Membership of a credit union is based on a common bond. Carlisle and District Credit Union has a "live and work" common bond. This means that anyone who lives or works within the Carlisle City Council boundary is eligible to join the credit union.
