Early in 2008 Cheryl Eastburn was appointed to this important new post at Caldew School, Dalston. As well as her responsibilities around the Cumbrian hub of schools with Business and Enterprise Centres, Cheryl will co-ordinate the important 2009 50th anniversary celebrations which will be held throughout the year.

Another important part of this appointment is to bring schools within the Cumbrian hub - Caldew School, Dalston; Ullswater School, Penrith; Kirkby Kendal School; St Joseph's, Workington - closer to local business.
Cheryl will be responsible for the enterprise and business development plan and for the 50th anniversary birthday celbrations for Caldew School.
This part of the Dalston website will regularly publish Newsletters from Cheryl's department and the Dates for Your Diary section of the Home page will include Caldew School events which are of interest to the community.
