please leave the old phone boxes, there is'nt much of the olden days left to show our kids anymore. what have we got to look back on and talk about to our next generations. They are a great sight to be seen, they are a part of England i would like to see left well alone. what harm are they doing, only reminding us of what was.

As a member of our local Young Farmers Club (Raughton Head) we are very worried about the removal of the phone box in Gaitsgill. The club has an age range from 12 to 26, therefore not everyone can drive and younger members must organise transport with their parents. Even on good days mobile phone signal is poor and to remove this facility could potentially cause major problems with the younger members safety.

Please can you ensure that further consideration is taken on this important matter.

Removal of telephone boxes can always be cost justified in this mobile age, but BT should remember that receiption is poor in many parts of the Parish. They should remedy that first.
