| |
Floral
Displays |
The
judges were particularly impressed by the high
standard of planting all round the village.
Specific mention was made of the outstanding
work by the residents of Barras House and the
children of St Michael's Primary School. It
was nice to see more planting around the Square.
The
judges suggested better use of plant material
which covers the container/planter better.
|
| |
Permanent
Landscaping |
The
judges were impressed by the standard of gardens
throughout the whole village as well as the
new tree planting.
The
judges would have liked more pictures of spring
planting and would like to encourage the school
to undertake bulb planting.

| |
Recycling,
Cleanliness and Natural Environment |
The
judges were impressed by the work of the Scouts
in wildflower plug planting behind Forge Green
and thought that use of interpretation boards
might help. |
