The
judging is over! With grateful thanks to everyone
who contributed so much to making Dalston look
fantastic on the day. The list would be endless,
but of special mention would be the gardeners
of Dalston, the grass cutting contractor Mathew
Lowrie, Bobby Nichol (Jubilee Garden), St Michael's
School pupils, Barras House residents and staff,
the Bowling Club, Oli Rickerby (the brochure),
Stephanie Diver (keeping the village clean and
tidy), Judy Rickerby, Liz Auld (organising the
whole effort) and Jean Rawstron (judge transport)
