Andrea McCallum - Dalston Parish Clerk
 
Dalston's New Parish Clerk
Liz Auld, who had been clerk to Dalston Parish Council for 17 years, retired and handed over the reins to Andrea McCallum at the end of October 2009.
Andrea is also clerk to Stanwix Rural Parish, which covers Houghton, Crosby-on-Eden, Linstock and Brunstock. She is married with two children and lives at Durdar. She was educated at Ivegill Primary and Caldew Schools and has a BA (Hons) in Business and Management.. Her background is in accounts, personnel and insurance. Andrea has travelled extensively in Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada. As well as keep fit, her hobbies and interests include clog dancing, gardening and cycling.
 
 
 
New Forge Green Office
Dalston Parish Council has renovated the office at Forge Green. Andrea will be in the office 2 days a week and will be available to members of the public on Tuesdays between 9am and 12pm. Anyone wishing to speak to Andrea should call between these hours - just knock on the door to attract attention.
