CARLISLE CITY COUNCIL AND CARLISLE PARISH COUNCIL'S ASSOCIATION

BROADBAND SURVEY
Lack of access to Broadband or poor quality/ speed of service has been highlighted as a priority action area for the Economic Development and Enterprise (EDE) group of Carlisle Partnership, Brampton Economic Partnership, and a number of Parish Councils who took part in the recent Locality Working workshops organised by Carlisle Parish Councils Association (CPCA).

As a result, this very brief survey has been put together to be hosted for completion on-line on Carlisle City Council existing “Broadband campaign” web page. It will cover access to Broadband, speed and performance.

This work to get the survey on-line has been done in house by Policy and Performance as it progresses issues within Carlisle City Council Corporate Plan and also Carlisle Partnership priorities.

Could you please give details, in the comments box, of any opportunities for additional use or business growth you could foresee IF high speed Broadband access were available to you. Thank you for your time completing this survey. We will circulate the results and next steps by the end of September 2010 .
