Dalston Festival 2008 - Children's Gala
On Sunday 3rd August 2008 the Recreation Association organised a highly successful Children's Gala and Race Day. It was difficult to estimate how many young people came along, with or without their parents/grandparents. We just know that there were lots and lots. One of the highlights, particularly for the younger children, was the appearance of Jason the Juggler, who popped up everywhere during the sports and entertained between races. At the end of the children's races he gave an excellent show which captivated the younger kids.
