Once again judging day was blessed with fine weather - in fact the grey skies of the morning gave way to strong sunshine and hot temperatures later in the day. The judge for the occasion was retired Bishop Harland, ably assisted by his wife. Many Dalstonians of all ages were out and about inspecting the scarecrows and lots called in at the Victory Hall to view the Art Exhibition and to have a welcome cup of tea - click here to see a picture of the Victory Hall Festival Tea Team in action! While passing the Methodist Chapel some took the opportunity of popping-in to view the wonderful Umbrellas for Peace Exhibition and 'The Way We Were Exhibition'.
